For additional slip resistance in areas of pedestrian traffic, use our non skid grit additives. They are most often used for pool decks and marine applications like boat floor coverings. Use the Original Color Chips Easy Sprinkle Can to sprinkle grit onto basecoat or clear coat (can be applied with color chips.) Be sure not to apply non-skid in too high-concentration, otherwise it will be more visible. Sprinkle at (1) 1.5 lb. can of non-skid per 500 square feet. After the floor is topcoated, the non-skid (as well as the color chips) will provide tiny bumps onto the floor.
